Perspective

As I listened to a teacher on YouTube yesterday, I realized that some believers go from one extreme to another.

It seems that we have stopped teaching for the sake of imparting greater knowledge of God’s kingdom, but to feed our own ego.  This is not what Elohim wants for his servants.

That is why it is important for pastors, teachers, evangelists, and prophets to remain connected to the vine (Yeshua) at all times if we are to accomplish our purpose.

We were sent established in the congregation to build up the servants of Yahweh, and equip them to minister. “Their task is to equip God's people for the work of service that builds the body of the Messiah (Ephesians 4:12)

Let us keep our focus on Yeshua and not on our own ability and intellect.

                                     Something to Think About!!!!!

On March 27th most of Christendom celebrated Easter as the day in which Yeshua was resurrection from the dead. However, according to Yahweh's Calendar, today is the official day of the resurrection.

Yahweh, God, scheduled Yeshua to die on Passover, Nissan 14 (April 23rd) and to rise on the third day, Firstfruits, Nissan 16 (April 25th].

Yeshua's death and resurrecting happened on the dates on the calendar rather that the days of the week.  Passover is a moveable feast which occurs on different days of the week.

On Nissan 16th when the women came to the tomb where Yeshua was buried he had been raised from the deaf by his father, Yahweh.

Luke 24:1-7

But the next day, while it was still very early, they (the women) took the spices they had prepared, went to the tomb, and found the stone rolled away from the tomb! On entering, they discovered that the body of the Lord Yeshua was gone! They were standing there, not knowing what to think about it, when suddenly two men in dazzlingly bright clothing stood next to them. Terror-stricken, they bowed down with their faces to the ground. The two men said to them, "Why are you looking for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has been raised. Remember how he told you while he was still in the Galilee, 'The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be executed on a stake as a criminal, but on the third day be raised again'?"

Yeshua was the firstfruits offering to the father on behalf of those who would come to believe in him.  Thus giving all true believers hope beyond the grave. The hope that just as Yeshua conquered death and was raised, those who believe in him would also come back to life again and liver forever with Yeshua in His everlasting Kingdom.

"But now Messiah has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead also has come through a Man". (1 Corinthians 15:20-21)  HALLELUJAH!!!!

Be blessed on this glorious "Resurrection day"

                                           A Time to Remember

As we approach Good Friday this year, mind goes back to 1999, the year that my son, Elvis died. He was actually buried on Good Friday, April 2nd, the day in which we celebrated the death and burial of our Lord Yeshua Messiah.

Passover was also celebrated on Thursday April 1st, 1999, which is the actually date that our Lord Yeshua was crucified and buried?

Although most believers celebrate Good Friday and Easter as Yeshua’s death and resurrection, all bible scholars know that his death actual occurred on Passover, and He was resurrected on Firstfruits. He died around three o’clock in the afternoon, the time of the evening sacrifice, and was buried before sundown, because the next day was the Sabbath.

As I thought about Elvis, I thought to myself, how awesome is this? The day that Yeshua rested in the tomb from his finished work of redemption, is the day that Elvis also rested in the grave from his finished life here on earth. And as Yeshua was brought back to   life on Firstfruits, so will Elvis and all believers be brought back to life when Yeshua comes back to set up his everlasting Kingdom.

We are reminded of this by the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 15:

"But the fact is that the Messiah has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have died. For since death came through a man, also the resurrection of the dead has come through a man. For just as in connection with Adam all die, so in connection with the Messiah all will be made alive. But each in his own order: the Messiah is the firstfruits; then those who belong to the Messiah, at the time of his coming; (1 Corinthians 15:20-23)

As you celebrate the Lord’s resurrection on Sunday, remember that if you are in Yeshua and He is in you, you can look forward to your day of resurrection to everlasting.
